Motor Control Centers (MCC)

A Motor Control Center (MCC) is an assembly that controls several or all-electric motors centrally. There are multiple enclosed sections and a common power bus. Each section has a combination starter, which consists of a motor starter, fuses and circuit breakers along with controlling devices like push button, indicators and selector switches.

Typically, Motor Control Centers can be found in large industrial or commercial buildings containing a lot of electrical motors that must be controlled centrally, such as an electrical room or mechanical room.
